G-1000 Training 

Prerequisites – A private pilot’s license and a valid medical. The G-1000 is the future of avionics. It is a fully glass panel that has many different functions and options. Though there is no sign off required by the FAA to fly one, it is a very different view of the standard “six pack” and can be very confusing if not properly trained. Here is an average amount of time to become comfortable with the G-1000.
