Instrument Proficiency Check (IPC) 

Prerequisites - A private pilot’s license, instrument rating and a valid medical. There are very specific guidelines to getting your IPC. They are laid out for you in the instrument rating practical test standards (PTS). These are average completion times, and are based on proficient flying skills and understanding of the IFR regulations. 

1.5 hours of flight time in a 152 - $118

1.5 hours of flight instruction - $75

1 hours of ground instruction - $50
